Ron & Julie
We have lovingly restored our 70 year old Art Deco home and take pride in what we have achieved and love to share it's uniqueness, comfort and style with our guests to enjoy and relax. Whilst you stay with us we will ensure your privacy is respected but are also happy to have a chat and a laugh.
We are easy-going and always busy with projects around the house along with gardening in the warmer weather. Julie loves being creative in many art forms, with mosaic being the favourite.
Ron is teaching himself to play the mandolin, collects old 78rpm records and loves his brood of chickens.
Things we love to do together are walking and cycling around Wodonga’s beautiful bike tracks especially around the Murray River along with fishing where the hardest decision is choosing one of the many, many fishing spots around the region.
Watching movies and TV series are one of our winter past times and some of our favourite TV series are Game of Thrones, Plebs, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Survivor. Julie's favourite movie is a French classic Amelie whilst Ron’s is Dances with Wolves.
We have a very broad love of music ranging from the 1920s to modern day. Ron won’t hesitate to play his old 78s on his antique gramophone, just ask and he will be very happy to share with you.
We have travelled overseas and love sharing our experiences with fellow travellers and hearing other people's adventures. Some of the places we have visited are New Zealand, Malta, France, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Maldives, Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia.
